Utrecht City Run

urban trail UtrechtRunning in the bustling inner city of Utrecht? That doesn’t seem a good idea… all these people, bikers and cars…
Well, actually it is! You just have to know when to run. The Sunday morning the city is yours. Run the city! Join the City Run.

Next City Run is Sunday May 17 2020

What is a City Run?

A relaxed running experience. Discover the city of Utrecht running in a a small group, under the guidence of an experienced trainer.

Well – this is what it actually is but it doesn’t describe the feeling of running though a desolated medieval city. This is really an enjoyable way to discover Utrecht and learn to know other sporty people and local runners.

You are not a resident? No problem! Start and finish is at the biggest bicycle storage of the world, next to the Central Trainstation, at the Jaarbeursplein. So come by train, bus or bike.

For whom is the City Run?

The idea of the City Run is you run with fun. It is not a race. We start as a group and we finish as a group. Still you have to have some running experience. The City Run is suitable for runners who can run at least 10k, at a speed of 9km/h.
